Loudon, N.H. – 19-year-old Even Beaulieu of Maine started fifth and finished second in a crash-filled Legends car race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway over the weekend.
“We’ve definitely improved our setup for this track a ton since last year as far as the oval races go,” Evan commented after the race. “We were running with Shaun Buffington for the lead at the end but we just didn’t have enough to get by him in lapped traffic. I’m happy to see that Dan Winter was OK after his scary flip on the backstretch. That was obviously a nasty ride.”
Evan now sits second in Moat Mountain New Hampshire Motor Speedway points just one point behind Buffington for the lead. He is also second in the Amsoil Nelcar Series standings, trailing Matt Bourgoine by 8 points.
The No. 56 Hancock Lumber team will be celebrating Memorial Day Weekend by racing at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire on Saturday, May 26th.
