Durham, ME – A yearly tradition for the Beaulieu crew will take place this New Years Eve, “The Coffee Cup” event at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.  Evan Beaulieu has competed in every race held at the hockey arena since it’s start in 2009.  This year, the race falls on New Year’s Eve, and Evan is hoping to bring in the new year with a good performance at the indoor kart track.

“We made steady gains last year with this Rage Sr. Champ,” Evan explained before heading south to Providence, “We were really good on the second day last year, but some bad luck and motor troubles kept us out of the feature race.  A lot of it is just getting used to the karts again, they drive a lot different than the big cars, especially indoors with the coke syrup.  I’m pretty confident we’ll have a strong performance this year.”

Evan will be driving the #56 Rage Nitro Sr. Champ sponsored by K&B Auto out of Ellsworth, ME.  The grandstands open at 5PM on Monday, December 31st with racing kicking off with the Sr. Champs and TQ Midgets at 6PM.  Racing is slated to be over by 9PM.  This race is always one of the most exciting of the season, and for just $20, you can bring in the new year with some intense racing action.
