Durham, Maine – Evan Beaulieu continued to progress in the Super Late Model series at Beech Ridge Speedway on Saturday night, running as high as seventh before a late race restart, Evan would end up with his first top ten finish of the year. He crossed the line in tenth place in the 19 car Pro Series field.
“I need to get better at being up on the wheel on restarts in these cars,” Evan noted after the race. “We are also going to make some additional changes to the car that we had held back on the first couple of weeks until I got more comfortable. I feel like good things are ahead for us. I just need to keep learning and we will be consistently up here before too long.”
Running three events in four days, Evan also finished second at Beech Ridge on Thursday in his INEX Legends car during the VIP Thursday Thunder season opener. On Sunday, he was in the top five with the road course car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway when he got caught up in a wreck that ended his day early.
This Saturday, Evan will again be in action with the Super Late Model at Beech Ridge Speedway. Racing rolls off at 6:30 and tickets are just $10. This week is autograph night after all the races, Evan will be there along with all the other competitors of Beech Ridge to sign autographs and meet the fans.
