Durham, ME – Evan Beaulieu and the #56 Hancock Lumber team took place in the largest Motorsports show in New England last weekend, the annual Northeast Motorsports Expo. The team had set up their own booth to promote their program and partners. Along with that, they had set up a simulator using IRacing software to raise money for Camp Sunshine, a week long program located in Casco, Maine for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. The setup brought in a total of $561 for the camp over the three days.
“I’m proud of what we accomplished this past weekend, this was a total effort by our entire team,” Evan said of the show, “we were all out in the shop past midnight every night this week, the money we raised and the promotion we did for Camp Sunshine made it all worth it.”
Evan’s partners Hancock Lumber, Amsoil Four Seasons Syntnetic, Speedway Illustrated and K&B Auto helped with the campaign at the show and supplied prizes for the top times on the simulator throughout the weekend. The setup proved to be very popular amongst the fans walking through as it offered a unique and interactive experience.
The team will now shift focus on getting the car ready for the Pro All Stars Series North season opener at Oxford Plains Speedway on April 12th.
